Hello! I am back from camp!!
I am so damn exhausted 'cos i still have to go for rehearsal after camp.
But anyway, i will just blog about what i did in the camp.

Day 1, Thursday, 18june2009
I reached school at about 7.30am.
Then, after marking our attendance, we went to the guitar&guzheng room, which is our training room.
We learnt more about each other before proceeding
Our main trainer is Tony.
The other facilitators are Daphne, Felicia, Jones, Shafiq, Ry, Aaron and Yvonne.
The first game we played was loose change.
We have to get into groups to obtain the exact amount of money that Tony wants.
After that, we got into groups of 13-14 after some talking about leadership.
My group consist of 9 girls: Me, Michelle, Laura, Melissa, Jia Yi, Fedora, Rou Wen, Xiao Yuan and Huda & 4 boys: Sam, Yi Yang, Osman(a.k.a Mr I dont know) and Hakkim(a.k.a Merlion[will explain later]).
And our facilitators(facils) are Daphne&Felicia! (:
We went to the basketball court to play the second game which is the blindfold evacuation.
In the game, we have to blindfold ourselves with a black cloth and wait for the leader to give you instructions.
The leader have to us ourselves according to birthdates.
And we have to stand in the hot sun for so long!
But i do enjoy standing in the sun because i want to become tanner.
The leader for blindfold evacuation is Yi Yang.
After we have completed the game, we went back to the training room.
We chose our group name, created cheer, rules and shared vision.
The leader for this activity is Sam.
And our team's name is MANJU(:!!!

After that, we set our personal goals.
Then, we went for lunch.
It was packet lunch, it's not nice!
After lunch, our team played 'ouch' game with our facils.
It was damn fun!
We talked about some leadership qualities after that.
Next, we went to the field to play tug-of-war.
The leader for this game is Hakkim.
We won 2 out of 6 games and came in 2nd.
Hakkim choked and spat water in YiYang's face.
That's why we called him merlion.
After that, we talked about how did we achieve this results with the facils. (eg. how many % commitment)
Then, we play the 'search for cutlery' game.
We have to find as many cutlery as possible and we have to use them for the rest of the meals.
We found 132 cutleries and came in 2nd.
We have buffet for dinner.
The buffet consists of rice, broccoli, cauliflower, chicken, etc..
After dinner, we played the survival game.
Laura is the leader for this activity.
We have to choose to stay or trek.
And those who chose stay will stay alive.
We have to rank the items we have from the most important to the least important.
We did this activity individually and as a group.
Most of us in the camp 'died'
'Cos we chose to trek.
And the ranking results are differernt form the expert's.
After the survival game, we did a ranking exercise.
We have to rank the top 3 and bottom 3 leaders.
We have to undergo an interview to convince the facils why we should not wash the toilet.
Laura went for the interview on behalf of us.
And we did not have to wash the toilet!
I slept @ around 12midnight.

Day 2, Friday, 19june2009
I woke up at 6.30am.
And did morning stretch @ around 7am.
Then, we went ofr breakfast.
We had beehoon and fishcake for breakfast.
And most of us were late for the training.
We got scolded by the facils and have to find reasons to convince the facils to continue teaching us.
After that, we talked about some leadership skills.
Then, we played the guessing game.
The leader is Michelle.
Jia Yi, Sam, Yi Yang and I went to feel the thing that we are supposed to guess.
Every group in the camp lost in this activity.
The next game is the Frantic balloon.
And the leader is me, Wen Yan!
We have to balance the balloons in the air as long as possible.
It was quite stressful.
'Cos the facils will keep shouting hectic!
"Hectic, hectic, hectic, hectic, hectic, Buzzard!"
5 buzzards equals to 1 frenzy.
That is when the game is over.
Then, we played ring toss in the hall.
Melissa is the leader.
We have to do 10 squats before proceeding to toss the ring.
Each time a person wants to toss the rings, the whole team will have to do 10 squats.
We came in 2nd again.
After playing, we went to hougang point for dinner.
"Hip hip hurray!!"
We were given $3 to spend.
I had McDonalds for dinner.
My team walked around hougang point after dinner.
When we reached school, we played 'ouch' and took a group photo.
Then we went back to school and did an acknowledgement exercise for the 9 people who will be leaving on saturday.
There was an interview again.
This time, Hakkim was our representative.
And we have to wash the toilet on saturday!
But we didnt care.
After bathing, liying, jia en, fedora and I went for a 'confidence' walk but it's not even scary.
Then, my team and juraimi, liying, lena and jia en went to the campfire site to play some games.
(sorry if i spelt your names wrongly)
I played scissors-paper-stone split with osman, hakkim and juraimi.
I lost to juraimi. :(
Then, we played 'ouch' again.
Lena and melissa hit hakkim really hard and his thighs were super red.
We also played 'chop chilli chop chilli chop chop chop' and truth or dare.
Then, we went back to our sleeping rooms @ 11.45.
We were forced to drink 1/4 bottle of water by the facils.
I slept around 12.30am.

Day 3, Saturday, 20june2009
My team woke up at 6.15am to wash the toilet.
I dont really know how to wash but i did my best.
Then, went for morning stretch at 7am.
After morning stretch, we had our breakfast.
Nasi lemak is for breakfast.
After that, we talked about some leadership skills.
Then, we proceeded to our late game, silence web.
The leader is Jia Yi.
In this game, we are not allowed to talk or touch any structures of the web.
And we must thread the rope throught the web.
We went back to the training room at 11.15am.
And went to imac room to watch a video clip prepared by teachers-in-charge and facils.
It is a video about what we did for the past 2 days and filled with our photos.
After that, we went back to the training room and did a 'closure session'.
We had to use tools such as axe, screwdriver, screw, saw, etc, to represent yourself.
Then, we did an acknowledgement exercise.
We had to give gems to the people whom you want to acknowledge.
Liying and i left in the middle of the acknowledgement exercise 'cos we had to go for rehearsal.

P.S. Forgot to mention that i have muscle aches!!
